Hosted Phone Systems

Traditionally, you could not keep your phone number when you moved to another community. Your published number was one of the most important ways for your clients to get hold of you. This is no longer an issue. You can take your number literally anywhere in the world.

Telephones are now an industry standard. We can support 20 different manufacturers. You can keep your hardware if you choose to change suppliers. You are no longer held hostage to one company. In fact, “endpoints”  could be on a cell phone, on a laptop, on a tablet, videophones, or on your home phone can even be your endpoint.  

For example, we have a trucking firm in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver. They're able to time-shift their employees to answer calls. They are open to the public 12 hours a day from 8:00 AM Eastern till 5:00 PM Pacific. They can provide better customer service without having to adjust staff working hours.

North American calls are considered local. No more dialling one for a long-distance call. There are no longer long-distance charges for most of North America. Exceptions are the Yukon, North West Territories, Nunavut, Alaska and Hawaii.  

If you're moving within the office or moving to another floor, or if you're moving within the town, even if you move across the country, you can keep your phone numbers and your existing extension. All you need is access to the internet and you are good to go.
